What skin types are SALU products suitable for?

The current line-up of SALU SKIN products is suitable for all skin types. We believe we are all from the same foundational levels, so we can all use the same products regardless of gender, skin type, or skin color.

Will my products expire?

On the bottom of your jar or bottle, locate the open jar graphic that is on your label, you will see a number proceeded by the letter ‘M.’ We recommend using the product within that number of months after opening so you enjoy it at its best.

Are your products safe to use while pregnant/nursing?

We formulate to meet all mandatory guidelines to ensure our products are safe. However, we always recommend asking your primary care doctor if you have any questions regarding your health.

Are your products 100% organic?

We aim to have the highest level of organic possible, however to have skincare with scientific lab-based results, it is impossible to be 100% organic. Please refer to each product individually to see the percentage of organic ingredients.

Are SALU SKIN products safe?

All of our products have been tested and passed all required safety testing.

What currencies can I shop in?

You can change the currency to your preferred in the top right hand corner of the store or inside the cart. This will give an accurate estimate of how much you will be charged in your local currency.

Are your products natural?

We’re a clean brand, meaning we use non-toxic ingredients, both natural and lab-created. While there are no regulated definitions of “clean" beauty or “all-natural" beauty, we define our clean product philosophy as focusing on the good (ingredients that are safe and effective) and cutting the bad (toxic or questionable ingredients that can cause more harm than good). After all, not all "natural" ingredients are good for you and your skin and not all synthetic ingredients are bad.

Are you paraben and sulfate free?

Ye! We wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re free of parabens, sulfates, and over 1350+ toxins and questionable ingredients.

Where can I purchase SALU SKIN products?

At this time, SALU SKIN is only available through saluskincare.com and Amazon.

Are your products vegan?

Most of our formulas are vegan, which means they do not contain animal or animal-derived ingredients. We harness the power of Manuka Honey in our Resurfacing Exfoliator, so if you require an exfoliator to be full vegan, please email us at saluskincare.com for an alternative option. Our products are 100% cruelty free and never tested on animals.

Do you use fragrance?

No! Our formulas are fragrance-free to limit the risk of skin irritation it can cause some skin types.

Do I need to use a sunscreen while using SALU products?

Regardless of your skin type or color, we advise to wear a sunscreen every day. We recommend applying your favourite SPF as a final step in your routine.

What are micro-tears?

Micro-tears are tiny abrasions that can occur when large and harsh particles rub against your skin. Overtime, micro-tears can weaken the skin’s barrier, which can cause skin irritation, redness, and dryness. Since exfoliation is so important to your skin and to the SALU SKIN line, we took extra steps to ensure our formula’s contained small particle sizes to prevent micro-tears.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our bottles and jars are 100% recyclable. Please separate your glass and jar materials and recycle accordingly. Please rinse your finished products before recycling.

Is it normal if my skin feels tingly after using the Exfoliator?

It can be normal to feel a slight tingle after exfoliating, especially if your skin is not used to exfoliation. Of course, please use with caution and if your skin becomes extremely red and irritated, discontinue use and talk with your primary care doctor or dermatologist.

Are your products pH balanced?

Our formulations are carefully formulated to balance your skin’s pH level to help maintain a healthy skin barrier.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our bottles and jars are 100% recyclable. Please separate your glass and jar materials and recycle accordingly. Please rinse your finished products before recycling. Our Outer Packaging Boxes are 100% recyclable and sourced from FSC certified forests.

How can I check on my order status?

You will receive a confirmation email after you place an order. When the order ships, we will send you another shipment notification email including tracking details. If you do not receive this shipping confirmation within two business days, please email us at hello@saluskincare.com.

How do returns work?

f you do not love your SALU SKIN products, please email us at hello@saluskincare.com and we will be happy to assist you. To start a return, please email us and we will send you a pre-paid shipping label. All items purchased through Amazon, will need to be handled through the Amazon returns process. We can only accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order, we will gladly offer a full refund to the original form of payment. All items must be returned with original tags and packaging. Please note that we cannot offer a refund on original shipping charges.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

How do I change or cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your SALU SKIN purchase, please email us at hello@saluskincare.com and we will do our best to process your request although we cannot guarantee we can cancel all requests in time. We offer full refunds within 30 days of receipt if you still wish to return your product after receiving.

My order has arrived damaged, what do I do?

We apologise this has happened. Please email us at hello@saluskincare.com with your order number and we'll be able to assist you.

Where do you ship from?

As of right now, we are fulfilling all orders received from the USA & UK. All orders ship directly from our facility in Florida, where we create, formulate, and manufacture our entire line! Each product is made with the highest attention to quality and detail.

Will I be charged import duties?

We calculate the appropriate tax and import duties at checkout. Any further charges is responsibility of your countries regulations, please check this before purchasing. SALU Skincare is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

My order should have arrived by now?
